Konstanz is the largest town on the shores of the Bodensee (Lake Constance), where Germany, Switzerland and Austria meet. It is a charming old town with a long history. There are plenty of opportunities for enjoying the lake and the outdoors, be it swimming, boating or cycling, or soaking up the atmosphere in the local beer gardens and cafés.

Organisers:
David Masser (University of Basel)
Patrick Speissegger (McMaster University)
Margaret Thomas (University of Konstanz)

Financing for this workshop comes from the Zukunftskolleg, University of Konstanz, the University of Konstanz, and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Council). The meeting is sponsored by the Association for Symbolic Logic.

Some events of the workshop will be hosted jointly with the French-German Summer School in Galois Theory and Number Theory, which is taking place in Konstanz in parallel, from July 18th to 24th 2015.
