Winter semester 2015/2016

Supervision of the seminar Advanced topics in Nonlinear Optimization of Prof. Volkwein together with Jianjie Lu.
This seminar is intented for master students or advanced Staatsexamen students and aims at introducing several active research fields in optimization which are in general not covered in the basic courses. Participants will become aquainted with these topics by basic literature and apply the new techniques to simple model problems. The results will then be presented in a talk of 45 minutes or more to the other participants.
